Have I ever shared just how much I love maps? Globes and maps are my treasures and I’ve been reading them since I was a wee little girl when my mommy drew one for me to keep with me every day that I walked to and from school. Well, that memory map can be found in a super cool zine that my friend Yoko-OK dreamed up, created, compiled, wrote a song for (that inspired the whole project), and invited friends and family to contribute to. It’s THIS:
It is a full-color, 44-page zine with almost 40 contributors (if you count the musicians who contributed their beautiful songs for the Map-Themed PLAYLIST!) Yes! SONGS TOO! Maps and songs about maps! You need one of these for your summer reading and listening. How do you get one? https://www.yoko-ok.com/mapzine <—- here is the link! It is $10 plus $2 shipping. Or, if you would like a super speedy (I don’t like to click more links) way to get one: Venmo $12 per copy to “Yoko-OK”.
