September Saturday

It’s been such a long time since I’ve sat still on a Saturday with a steaming cup of java in hand, listening to the morning unfold. My mind is soft and gooey from a nice sleep as the grey clouds before my eyes abate the usual busy thoughts that would normally take over. You’re not going to interrupt my morning, busy thoughts. I hear a beeping, a flutter, and some human chatter approaching below. I search for my Dolby On app on my phone to capture a bit of the sound thinking about the theme for my next music every week submission: otherworldly music. I think these sounds captured and then pitched up could possibly make up a theme of music on Jupiter. I think about what music on Jupiter might sound like. Would there be rhythm? Could we discern a melody?

Well, I’ve got the day and night to figure that out and pretend that I’m writing otherworldliness. I know I’ve got the right sonic plugins to make it sound so. I take another sip and contemplate my future retirement operating a music store on Jupiter…
