You have made yourself clear, my inner wizard. I have received the message threefold in the past 3 days here in Joshua Tree from the moment I stepped through the portal. The lovely old souls greeted me warmly, gave me a tour, and I was on and upward to my discovery.
First, the book, “The Way of the Wizard,” where Deepak spoke to me from decades ago about his Merlin learning when he was a boy that carried throughout his life and in his teachings.
Then the beauty of the desert where one meets the other–the Mojave and Colorado–places of transformation from valley floors and the unique vegetation to the higher elevation rock formations, Joshua Trees, and plants, animals, birds, and bugs. I returned to the temporary homestead to find this: Merlin – the Bird ID app from Cornell
I was seeking information about the Cactus Wren when Merlin popped in again.
Hours later, I saw the picture of a friend with a Wizards tee-shirt and thought to myself: “OK, I get it. I’m on a path.”
I’ll carry it forward.
